Ladakh region is the highest Indian plateau, positioned in Himalayan mountain magnificence and also one of the least explored Himalaya regions. Popular for nature admirers, adventure junkies, honeymooners and leisure travelers. The picturesque splendor of the towering mountains and valleys, tied with the vivacity of its culture, makes Ladakh one of the secluded and must-visit destinations; an exploration to feed the heart and enrich the senses.
This one week itinerary is a perfect schedule to relish a comprehensive trip to magnificent Ladakh. It takes you to majestic monasteries like Thiksey, Shey and Hemis. We cross over the Khardung La by Jeep/Van and scenic Pangong Lake. The trail also pass via Nubra Valley, which is a wonderful place where you can enjoy Bactrian Camel Ride.
We use 3/4 star hotels for this tour. The accommodation will be in LDAKH HIMLAYN RETRET or similar category in Leh. We use comfortable camp on full-board basis in Nubra Valley and Pongong Lake. All rooms are on twin-shared basis. Single bedroom will be arranged on request and will cost additional. Utmost Adventure will arrange rooms with attached washrooms.
In Leh, breakfast will be available (On demand, we can arrange lunch and dinner). There will also be farewell dinner taking place for guests. All meals will be provided during tour outside Leh, we have breakfast and dinner in the camping/lodge where we spend the night and lunch on our way to next destination.
Tibet cultural tour is an easy tour. Travelers who can sit 5-6 hours a day on an uphill and downhill drive will consider this trip fulfilling and enjoyable. It is a good idea to prepare for the tour by jogging and exercising regularly at least for a month prior to the start. Touring in Tibet should be relatively easy for those who have experience in touring in high altitudes. Determination, good physical health, positive attitude and average physical fitness are good preconditions for a successful accomplishment of the tour. Participants with pre-existing medical conditions such as heart, lung, and blood diseases should inform Utmost Adventure Trekking before booking the trek.
