27 Nov 2011 (Day 01): Kathamndu
Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345 meters). There you will meet our
Airport Representative and you will be transferred to hotel by private
tourist vehicle. Overnight at hotel.
28 Nov 2011 (Day 02): Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Your
sightseeing trip will start at 9 am in the morning after your
breakfast. We will provide a private vehicle and professional tour
guide. The places we visit are Pasupatinath temple, Budhanath Stupa,
Monkey temple, Bhaktpur Durbar Square and Kathmandu Durbar Square. The
afternoon includes a final briefing and preparations for the trek.

29 Nov 2011 (Day 03): Drive to Pokhara (900 meters) 7 hours by tourist
bus. Trekking staff will arrive at your hotel at 6:30 am in the morning
to pick you up then the bus will leave to Pokhara around 7:30 am .

30 Nov 2011 (Day 04): Drive to Nayapul (1010 meters) and trek to
Tirkhedunga (1570 meters) 3 hours. We begin our trek at Nayapul after 1
hour driving by private vehicle from Pokhara. After 15 minutes short
walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1015meters)
a large village that have many shops and teahouses. From there, the
trail continues through the village. The trail follows the north bank
of the Bhurungdi Khola. From there, the trail climbs steadily up the
side of the valley to Hille at 1495m and after the short climb, we
reach Tirkhedhunga at 1570 meters. Today walk offers a short and
relatively easy day, during the journey which allows us to become used
to the experience of trekking in Nepal. Overnight at guesthouse.
01 Dec 2011 (Day 05): Trek to Ghorepani (2840 meters) 5 hours. Leaving
Tikhedunga, we begin our journey with a steep climb to Ulleri. It is a
large Magar village at 2070 meters. The trail then continues to ascend
more gently, through fine forests of oaks and rhododendrons towards
Banthanti at 2250 meters. Then we trek upward to Nangethanti at 2460m.
After an hour walk we arrive at Ghorepani at 2840 meters. Overnight at
guesthouse.
02 Dec 2011 (Day 06): Hike up to Poon Hill (3210 meters) and trek to
Tadapani (2610 meters). Today, very early in the morning, we start an
hour hiking to Poon Hill at elevation of 3210 meters, a brilliant
spectacle; this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of sunrise
over the high Himalayas. There we spend about 1 hour, then returning to
Ghorepani we take a hot breakfast at hotel then we trek to Tadapani
(2610 meters). Before starting towards Tadapani, we make climb along
ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2960
meters). After that we descend to the Banthanti, then turning off to
Tadapani. Overnight at guesthouse.
03 Dec 2011 (Day 07): Trek to Chommrong (2140 meters) 5 hours. The day
starts with steep downhill through rhododendrons' forest. Leaving
Tadapani, we descend steeply through forest and then the trail eases as
we reach Gurjung which is the village of Gurung people, with an easy
walk to Chommrong at elevation of 2140 meters. Overnight at guesthouse.
04 Dec 2011 (Day 08): Trek to Dovan (2500 meters) 5.30 hours. Today the
trail drops down to the Chhomrong Khola and again we continue climbing
to Khuldighar at 2380 meters , where there was ACAP (Annapurna
Conservation Area) Check post, but now it's closed. From little
further, the route goes very steeply down through stone steps then
levelling out, running through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the
gorge, keeping always on the west side of the river. Overnight at
guesthouse.
05 Dec 2011 (Day 09): Trek to Deurali (3200 meters) 4 hours. It's a
short walking day today because of altitude and risk of snow avalanches
in the area that we need to cross in the next morning. Our day begins
with the climb through bamboo, then rhododendron forests to Himalayan
Hotel and on to Hinko cave. The accommodation will be in Deurali, on
the ridge above Hinko is the stretch of trail that is most subject to
avalanche. Overnight at guesthouse.
06 Dec 2011 (Day 10): Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 meters) 5
hours. Today the trail climbs and pass the Machhapuchhare Base Camp,
which is not really a base camp since climbing the mountain, is not
permitted. Since it is totally surrounded by mountains, this area is
known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. Two hours trek from Machhapuchhare
Base Camp takes you to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at elevation of
4130 meters. There, you will view unobstructed views of mountain
scenery, which is very spectacular. Overnight at guesthouse.
07 Dec 2011 (Day 11): Trek to Tent peak Base Camp (4400 meters) 4
hours. From here we will have short walking day as it is very important
to avoid getting affected by the thinning of the air and get
acclimatization to climb Tent peak. Our guide will give important and
useful information about the situation on climbing Tent peak and about
next days activities. From today the accommodation will be tented camp
and untill for next two days and you will be having camp food cooked by
our professional cook. Overnight at Tented camp.
08 Dec 2011 (Day 12): Trek to High Camp (approximately 5000 meters). A
short day in order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning of the
air, we take a short trek around high camp and get ready for our
adventure for next morning. Overnight at Tented camp.
09 Dec 2011 (Day 13): Summit Tent peak (5850meters) and return to Base
Camp. Today is our main adventure day, an early morning to climb Tent
peak but it all depend on the weather. After safe trip to the summit we
make our way safely down then day back to Base Camp. Overnight at
Tented camp.
10 Dec 2011 (Day 14): Trek to Deurali (3200 meters) 6 hours. We follow
the same trail down today the trail drops down by 1200 meters to the
bank of Modi Khola to small town of Deurali at 3200 meters. Overnight
at Guesthouse.
11 Dec 2011 (Day 15): Trek to Chommrong (2140 meters) 6 hours. We
follow the same trail until Chommrong through Himalaya hotel, Dovan,
Bamboo. Once we have passed Khuldighar there is an experimental sheep
Farm, the trail continues through rhododendron and bamboo fields.
Overnight at Guesthouse.
12 Dec 2011 (Day 16): Trek to Ghandruk (1950 meters) 5 hours. The day
starts with easy walking and then downhill for an hour. After an hour
leaving Chommrong, we descend steeply through forest and then the field
to Kumrong Khola. From here we go up which takes you to the Kumrong
Danda then a 45 minutes gentle down to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is the
village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic group of Nepal, have their
own dialect, typical culture, costume and life style. This village is
possibly the popular tourist destination that offers the beautiful
mountain views and having easy connection with Pokhara or Kathmandu. We
will have short day tour around the village. Overnight at Guesthouse.
13 Dec 2011 (Day 17): Trek to Nayapul (1010 metrs) and drive to
Pokhara. From Ghandruk we walk at the right side of Modi Khola for 5
hours to Birethanti which is consider one of the best and relaxing walk
of the entire trek. We reach Nayapul then an hour drive will take us
back to Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.
14 Dec 2011 (Day 18): Pokhara City tour. Your sightseeing trip will
start at 9 am in the morning after breakfast. Places we visit are; Fewa
Lake, Bagnes Lake, Devis water fall, Museum, Tibetan refugee settlement
and Gupteshower cave etc. You will have relaxing afternoon. Overnight
at hotel.
15 Dec 2011 (Day 19): Jungle Safari Activities
Safari Arrival at Chitwan, pick up from the bus stop/ airport and
transfer to Hotel/resort. Enjoy your welcome drink and brief about the
package program, after refreshment serve you lunch and start the
further activities.
Local Tharu village excursion and typical cultural experience of
Nepal's plain land Terai. In Nepal's Terai east to west Tharus are the
main ethnical groups settled in their community.
After amazing sunset view back to the camp site, slide presentation
about the flora & fauna of the National Park and serve you candle
light dinner.
16 Dec 2011 (Day 20): Jungle Safari Activities
Wake up call early in the morning and serve your tea/coffee drinks.
You could go for the elephant back safari. The elephant back safari
will be about 2 hr. for morning jungle excursion before the breakfast
which is one of the best ways of viewing natural lives in the jungle.
You will have chance to see most of the different wild-lives and their
natural habitat.
After elephant back safari back to the camp, enjoy your breakfast and
rest for a while to be refresh and brief about the jungle walk About
9:30 AM go for the jungle walk to explore the wild life in the nature
and enjoy your jungle pack lunch in the spot.
On the way of coming back you will be joining for canoeing trip to
observe marine wild-life of the park. The canoe ride end further down
of river then walk to elephant breeding centre and back to camp site.
In the evening dinner party and typical Tharu stick dance show.
17 Dec 2011 (Day 21): Jungle Safari Activities
Wake up call early in the morning and serves your tea/coffee drinks.
You could go for the bird watching tour to see many different birds
both endemic and exotic and some are migrated in side the National Park
seasonally for long time.
After come back to the camp to have a breakfast and pack the baggage to transfer to the Bus Park/ airport for the departure.
18 Dec 2011 (Day 22): Drive back to Kathmandu (1345 meters). About 3
hours rafting trip on the way to Kathmandu. (please let me know your
time schedule so I will manage the rafting regarding your time
schedule)
Overnight back at the hotel in Kathmandu. We pick up you from bus park and drive to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
19 Dec 2011 (Day 24): Free day for shopping or relax. Overnight at hotel.
20 Dec 2011 (Day 23): Departure
Transfer to international airport for your final departure. The trip
ends, our airport representative will drop you to the international
airport at Kathmandu for your flight departure from Nepal.
