Langtang - Ganja La Pass Trek (15 Days)


Langtang Gyanjala trekking is one of middle level trekkings. This trekking requires trekking experience and a good physical form. This trekking covers Langtang valley, the pretty Langtang valleys, Kyanjin Monastery, view of Langtang, Ganesh himal, Lang sisa ri, Yabru himal, Dorje Lakpa/Dokpo, Langup, Morimoto peak.

Langsisa: in Sherpa language Lang means ox and sisa means death so it is place of an ox died and the ox converted into stone ox which can seen till now. There are holly flags over it. This route follows along the Langtang river from Syarpa goan.

Ama Agri : ama means mother and Agri her name: Once a time Yak watcher woman died on this peak and her three sons has constructed a stupa where they had found her died body. It is very good view point of this area.
There are villages of mixed ethnics, Tamang villages and Sherpa villages. The route passes through forest and villages. Rhododendron blossom in March April. Beautiful landscape and Jugal Himal ragne can be seen from this route.
Itinerary
Day 01 Kathmandu Arrival. Pick up and transfer to hotel
 Day 02 Kathmandu Sightseeing and preparation for the trip.
Day 03 Drive to Syabrubesi (1550m).
Day 04 Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2380m) (6-7hr hours).
Day 05 Lama Hotel to Langtang (3500m) (7 hours).
Day 06 Langtang to Kyangjin Gompa (3890m) (4 hours).
Day 07 Kyangjin Gompa Rest Excursion around Kyangjin Gompa (or you can even climb Tsergo Ri-5033m).
Day 08 Kyangjin Gompa to Ngegang (4000m) (4 hours).
Day 09 Ngegang over Ganja-La pass & camp at Keldang (4270m)
Day 10 Keldang to Dukpu (4080m) (7 hours)
Day 11 Dukpu to Tarky Gyang (2600m) (6 hours).
Day 12 Tarke Ghyang to Kakani dada (1900m) (7 hours).
Day 13 Kakanidada to Melamchi Pull Bazaar & Drive to kathmandu.
Day 14 Sightseeing in Kathmandu or free day & shopping.
Day 15 Transfer to International Airport and fly back.
