Kathmandu Tour (4 Days)


A 4 days tour to the Himalayan City- Kathmandu, takes you to the most popular destinations where you can choose to relax or indulge in some leisure activities.

The tour offers an incomparable scope to connoisseurs of art and culture to see and study the different aspects of fine arts in its painting, sculpture, woodcarving and architecture. The three main historic cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur with numerous historical monuments, old palace and palace squares, shrines and temples. Ageless traditions and legends make it a veritable living museum. The Kathmandu Valley boasts seven UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites all within a radius of 20 km. Among them some are placed in cultural world heritage sites while 2 are placed in natural world heritage sites:

Day 01: Kathmandu
Pick up then Transfer to hotel and handle check in. Short briefing that afternoon followed by orientation walk. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Sight seeing
Morning visit to Pashupatinath the holiest Hindu Shrines dedicated to the Lord Shiva as incarnation of Pashupati, Lord of animals. Boudhanath the largest Bhuddhist Stupa of its kind built in 5th century and dedicated to the memory of Buddhist demi-god.
Afternoon visit to Swayambhunath, the 2500 years old and 2nd holiest Buddhist Shrine and The living goddess “Kumari” at Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight at hotel
    
Day 03: Sight seeing
Morning visit to Patan. The city of fine arts lies 5 km further from the main Kathmandu city. Afternoon visit to Bhaktapur: the city of devotees lies 16 km further north from Kathmandu. Visit ancient palace of Malla kings and drive back to Kathmandu, in the evening a farewell dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Departure
Drop to the international airport for final departure.
