Mount Changtse (7550m) Expedition 2017 / 2018 (34 Days)

Mount Changtse (7550m) Expedition 2017 / 2018
Mount Changtse (7550m) is located north of Mount Everest, connected via the North Col hence the Tibetan name Changtse for north peak. Two other well know peaks of the Everest group are Lhotse and Nuptse mean respectively south and west-peak.

The first ascent of Changtse was unofficially made on October 3, 1982 by Johan Taks of the Dutch Everest Expedition who were officially climbing Everest from the north side. 1982 The first official ascent of Changste with a permit was completed 11 days later on October 14 by five members of a German expedition Udo Zehetleitner, Paul Braun, Rudolf Frick, Ludwig Hösle and Martin Engler. The ascent was made via the four kilometer-long NE Ridge from the junction of the East Rongbuk Glacier and Changtse Glacier. 1983 The next ascent and also the first solo was made by Chilean climber Gino Casassa May 14, 1983 by the same route used by the Germans.

Mount Changtse expedition is now becoming popular among the mountaineers perhaps the best way to see panoramic closest view of Mount Everest without more difficult and dangerous route. We provide all necessary infrastructures to assist you in your summit attempt for Changtse Expedition. We provide full camping service from Base camp to the south cool and best hotel accommodation during the driving tour. Our climbing guide and supporting Sherpa are highly qualified with lot of experience in high mountains climbing.
